Staff Profiles

Mike Berardi - President & CEO

Mike Berardi is the owner / operator of Kent Cleaners Limited. He has over 20 years experience in the dry cleaning industry and over 15 years experience specializing in textile restoration. Mike is a second-generation dry cleaner, having bought the business from his father in 1997.

Mike earned his dry cleaning licence in 1987, from the International Fabricare Institute (I.F.I.) in Washington, D.C. Mike's continued commitment to education and high standards has him continuously sending his staff to courses at IFI to educate them and upgrade their skills in dry cleaning and textile restoration.

Deanna Rye - Office Administrator

Deanna is responsible for Accounts Payable, accounts receivable and a variety of other book keeping duties at Kent Cleaners Limited. She has been with the organization since 2004.

Deanna graduated from Fleming College with a diploma in Office Administration. Her previous work experience includes working for a Bankruptcy Trustee and an accounting firm.

Deanna and her husband have two small children. She spends her spare time with her children and playing Slo-pitch.
